Bring your trips over
Coming from MileIQ, Everlance or TripLog? Export your trips there as a CSV (MileIQ: a report’s CSV; Everlance: the trips export; TripLog: Trips → Export), then Settings → Data → Import a CSV.
Each trip comes in with its date and times, where it started and ended, its distance (miles or km, as the file says, else in your unit) and its purpose: business, personal, commute, medical or charity, with MileIQ’s unclassified drives as personal.
A purpose of your own (“Customer visit”) is kept as the why, and counts as business when the file doesn’t say business or personal.
Clients and vehicles
A client, project, Everlance’s Income Source or a single TripLog tag becomes the client or project.
The trips go on the vehicle chosen there (a vehicle the file names that’s in your Garage by the same name gets its own), and the ones already in your log are skipped, so importing the same file again adds nothing.
A toll or transponder statement isn’t a trip log, so it isn’t imported: log tolls as expenses.
