Maintenance, costs and papers

Log maintenance and its next due

PlusPart of Plus

+ → Maintenance: pick everything done on the visit, each with its cost and who paid. Give an item a next due and the Dash shows it under Coming up.

What was done

+ → Maintenance. Pick everything done on the visit (oil change, tires, brakes, inspection…), each with its cost and who paid: you, the warranty, a service plan, insurance, or free. Add tax and shop fees once for the visit.

Next due

Give an item a next due in miles or months and the Dash shows it under Coming up from 500 miles or 30 days out (the distance at your usual pace), as History’s Costs does. With Maintenance due on (Settings → Alerts) a reminder comes that evening. Logging the same work again resets it.

The distance runs on at your pace for up to 45 days after your last odometer reading. Past that, it says when that reading was, not a number that keeps growing: “due at 14,800 mi · no reading since Feb 25”, or “past due” when it was by then. No reminder comes from the distance then.
