Reminders and notifications
Settings → Alerts: each one is off until you turn it on. They’re made on your phone from your own log, and nothing is sent: the weekly summary of your driving, a fill-up you may have missed, renewals, maintenance due and more.
The reminders
Fill-up check (well past your usual time between fill-ups), Missed entries, Fuel economy drops, Monthly home charging total (with a plug-in you still own and log for; not the sample’s), Monthly recap (Pro), Renewals (Plus) and Maintenance due (Plus; tires you track near the legal minimum too). Each comes once. They’re made on your phone, nothing is sent, and tapping one opens the right screen. If notifications are off for MileWorks in the phone’s settings, Settings → Alerts says so, with Open settings.
Weekly summary
Once a week, free and off until you turn it on: your distance, fuel economy and spending for the week, in your own units. With it, what stood out: a new best tank, a new country or state in your Passbook (with the full Passbook), an achievement, a streak of weeks, spending against the week before, the kWh charged.
It comes on Sunday at 7 PM at first; once it’s on, pick the day and the hour under its switch. The week runs Monday to Sunday: a Sunday evening’s (5 PM or later) covers the week ending that day; a Sunday morning’s or noon’s, and any other day’s, the last whole week.
A week with nothing logged sends nothing, and its money is in the currency the Dash shows. Tapping it opens Stats.
Welcome messages
With the automatic region on (Plus), the Dash’s welcome to another country, state or province can also come as a notification, with the card’s title and first line. Turn it on in Settings → Region → Welcome messages → Also as a notification, or the same switch in Settings → Alerts.
One per card the Dash makes; the cards’ own switches and waits apply, so no card means no notification. Tapping it opens the Dash.
